I have noticed that people who are not really original nor interesting, -those who like being dressed or acting like someone else, the ones that show off whatever they know or whatever they have- most of the times have many friends and are kind of popular in this world.
However, there is another kind of people - those who are so different from everybody else, the ones who are not adaption nor xerox. Yet, these are the ones nobody wants to hang out with. The eyes of the crowd do not recognize those who carry a surprise within themselves.
Thus, trivial and common people, not having much to be proud about, believe they are the greatest thing on earth. While, those who are worth of being known, understand that nobody has anything to take pride on and do not fancy themselves superior to anyone else. On the contrary, they have a simple and humble heart and do not pretend to be something they are not - they are not trying to get everybody's attention.
Most of the people are not interested in those who listen, instead of talk; in those who remain quiet instead of saying what they have fulfilled in their lives; in those who do not feign superiority but show humbleness.
Common people are admired, followed and loved. For some reason, everybody prefers those who feign, rather than those who really are.
Brave people decide to be themselves and hence most of the time are lonely.
Nobody understands them. Nobody sees them.
