The World's Biggest Cistern

Not even the oceans nor the Earth's atmosphere are any significant reservoir when compared to the tomorrow-reservoir.

The tomorrow-reservoir is a system which is so large that it does not appreciably alter its state parameters even if we, all of a sudden, place all of our plans in it. We can never reduce the available space - that will always remain a constant. After one day follows another day, and then another one, and then still one more... We will always fancy a lot of available time in front of us, after this day.

And thus we keep throwing our great plans to the morrow. We store our activities in the container "for later use".

And nope, unfortunately there is no such reservoir "today". Because today, unlike thermodynamic reservoirs, does have physical and temporal limits.

Most of the time we live our lives as if our todays were unlimited. Yet the fact is that my todays are limited, and yours too. We just do not notice that we are running out of them, haha!

Today is the only available option for accomplishing a task. Yes, the fully-bounded and sealed Today... The only place where you can really invest your time, the only area where you can really prevent your high quality material and ideas from dissolution.

The tomorrow-container though, it is very flexible and comprehensive. It has indefinite retention time for all your contributions and it gives you unlimited credit, so you can always leave an activity for the next week, for the next year. There will not come any ticket if you do not make use of your plans after a certain period of time, neither.

The thing is - will I still have a chance to accomplish all those plans, or will they have to drown and vanish forever?
